Spring is in the air

I took this high angle picture during our walk to the top of the hill in the park. The day was very cloudy and dreary, but the moss was very green and reminded me that spring was on its way.

A perfect day. A perfect view.

This was probably the best day I have spend here in England. This photo was taken on the coastline at the North Sea. In the shot you can see a small cottage, which was the only structure in sight. The landscape along the coastline was rocky, mossy, and sandy; and it all seemed to stretch forever.

Strength after 800 years

This photo was taken below Durham Castle. It is the ceiling of a hidden chapel found hundreds of years after it was build. I think this picture is a perfect representation of structure and strength because it is just as stong as the day it was built.

Waiting for Spring

I took this picture thinking of how different the chair would look once spring was here. Even though the chair itself wouldn't change, the the look of it would because of all the other colors and light that would spring up around it.

Little Farmer and His Dad

When we arrived at the gardens we saw there were a few kids playing on toy tractors. I saw this man helping his son scoop up some of the water in the plastic yellow scooper.

Darkness over the Cathedral

This picture was taken outside the Durham Cathedral at night. I think this is really interesting because this is the only part of the huge cathedral that is illuminated at night, you can also see the small cemetary below the big window.

Hey Little Birdie

This picture was taken in the Alnwick Gardens. I was pretty excited to snap this photo because I have not seen any animal up close here in England, other then sheep and pidgeons.
