Green Pastures

It is almost impossible to capture the amount of green that is just outside the castle. But I tried to snap a shot that could. In the back right corning you can see the edge of the castle; but the rest of the picture is the landscape of the surrounding area.

Alnwick Strength

This bridge has been in that spot for so many years, I thought it was perfect for my structure picture. It has been one of the vital links into Alnwick for a very long time and thus making it a structure of strength.

Percy Statue

This lion statue was perched so high above the street, even with the zoom it was hard to get a close up shot. It was a great still shot, with and interesting angle.

Afternoon Stroll

This man was really interesting to watch. He walked like he was on a mission, with every step more purposeful then the last. I snapped this shot as he was looking back at traffic attempting to cross the street.

Green Pastures

These three sheep were totally away from all the other ones in the pasture. I thought it was an interesting shot, even though their bums were facing me.

Evening

This picture was taken at night of a tree trunk. It's a little hard to see the small details, but you can easily see the highlights in the tree's bark.

Roar of the Lion

I took this picture on the bridge coming into Alnwick. The lion face on-coming traffic and is standing in a protective pose. I used photo shop to alter the color in the background and the dark spots in the lions mane.

Police in action

It was difficult to take a picture of a car in motion, because you have to anticipate the car coming into the shot before you even press the button. Luckily, this picture turned out, and it doesn't even look like the police car is moving.

Memorial

I took this photo because it was of four soldiers each looking in a different direction as if they are guarding the area. I also thought it was fitting that it is a memorial, and we have to look up to see them.

A Bird's Eye View

I love this photo because the view was so breathtaking it was literally impossible to look away. In this photo you can see the past, present, and future of Scotland; in palace and parliment below.
